Blossoms of the Spring

Letter 37

BH, 28th of Elul 5720 (Tuesday, September 20, 1960), Tel-Aviv

My beloved, my precious one, Mr. Z. Shazar – who is good and charming to all, who draws life from the waters of loving-kindness, from which hang the root of his lifeforce and the rectification of his soul. May he be written and sealed amongst the holy gathering in the book of the Tzaddik for a pleasant and good life, for long life, and for endless peace.

My precious one, my friend, for the sake of Hashem, his mind and thoughts shouldn't waver – only to be with us for Rosh Hashanah, and to insert his head between the souls who attach themselves to the soul, the light of Rabbainu o.b.m. – and then it will be good for him. And if the obstacles are strong, then it's even better still, for the main passion and longings to return to Him, blessed be He, strengthen only through the breaking of obstacles.

Be strong and of good courage, and be blessed.

So may it be for us and all Israel, Amen.

The one who truly desires his peace and success,

Yisroel Dov Odesser
